HQ's "TiLoveYa™" to Kroger's QFC (Quality Food Centers)

Sales Begin to Northwest's High End Retail Chain Within the Kroger Group

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - May 31, 2007) - HQ Sustainable Maritime Industries, Inc. (AMEX: HQS), a leader in toxin-free integrated aquaculture and aquatic product processing, announced today that it has begun selling products to a distributor placing its branded "TiLoveYa™" products to its nearly 100 stores in the Northwest. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kroger is one of the nation's largest grocery retailers, with fiscal 2005 sales of $60.6 billion.

QFC has commenced selling HQ's "TiLoveYa™" brand of frozen fillets within its chain of stores in the states of Washington and Oregon.

The Kroger Co. spans the U.S. with store formats that include grocery and multi-department stores, convenience stores and mall jewelry stores.
