HRE Performance Wheels Debuts New 790R Forged Wheel Series at SEMA Targeting Lamborghini, Aston Martin, BMW and Mercedes

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - October 30, 2007) - HRE Performance Wheels, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality forged aluminum custom wheels, today announced it has launched the 790R three-piece forged wheel series, new applications in the Monoblok one-piece forged wheel series and three new styles in its second generation Competition forged wheel series. The announcement was made at The SEMA Show, the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. The show runs from Oct. 30-Nov. 2 and is being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The 790R luxury forged wheel series includes eight styles in 19/20/21-inch diameters. Based on the overwhelming success of the 940R series, HRE is introducing a line of wheels with luxury styling that also achieves lower wheel weights. Available for world's finest sports cars, the 790R series offers the utmost in luxury style without the performance trade-off of luxury wheels. HRE has put the highest levels of quality into the engineering, manufacture and finish into the new series. The highest quality ARP stainless fasteners are standard as well as 6061-T6 forged centers and spun rims.

HRE is adding three new styles to its Competition wheels for Porsche, Ferrari, BMW and others in 18/19-inch diameters. Building on the success of the company's original Competition forged wheel series that targeted true track performance customers, as well as customers desiring the utmost in lightweight performance for the street, HRE has taken the new Competition series even further. The three all-new styles are stronger and lighter than the originals and continue with uncompromising features such as the highest strength titanium fasteners and lightweight 6061-T6 forged centers and spun rims. The new series also incorporates the newly designed race engineered I-beam spoke geometry.

The company is introducing new wheels to its Monoblok series, a line of forged one-piece wheels crafted from 100 percent forged 6061-T6 aluminum. With its innovative, elegant styling and impeccable craftsmanship, the Monoblok series is precision engineered for model-specific fitments including wheels for Porsche, Range Rover, Bentley and Mercedes-Benz. The Monoblok series includes three styles of 22" wheels (7-spoke twist, 11-spoke twist and 15-spoke twist), and are available for Bentley GT and Flying Spur; Range Rover HSE and Range Rover Sport; Porsche Cayenne; and Mercedes GL and ML, with other applications available as well. The Monoblok series features direct bolt-in OE TPMS, are OE cap compatible and accept OE lugs. The series comes in brush/clear, chrome and powdercoat finishes, with custom finishes available as well.
