HROA Announces New Co-Chairs for European Chapter

Industry Experts Take Lead Positions for Two-Year Terms

LONDON--(Marketwire - November 17, 2009) - The HROA today announced the new chairs of the HROA European Chapter. Tim Palmer from PA Consulting Group and Gary Madden from Cadbury will assume the roles previously held by Guy-Joel de Lhoneux (formerly of Unilever) and John Hindle, Accenture.

Madden has been working for Cadbury for 12 years. He has held various HR roles including establishing and running Cadbury's UK HR Services operation. He currently leads a global Program in which Cadbury will implement NorthgateArinso's euHReka platform. The program started in October 2007 and is expected to launch during the first quarter of 2010. By the end of the programme, Cadbury employees in more than 60 countries will be on a single, multi-language SAP HR with self service.

Palmer is a well respected influencer in the HR transformation industry, supporting HR Directors as they manage their organisations. His expertise includes shared service creation and optimisation, outsourcing and strategic HR organisation design. He has worked with clients across different sectors including consumer goods, banking, transport, pharma and telecoms.

Faye Holland, Managing Director of SharedXpertise Europe and Executive Director of HROA Europe, commented, "Both Tim and Gary share a clear vision of how the Association should evolve at a time when the whole industry is in transition. Their initial focus includes working with other associations and enhancing the overall sustainability of the association and its membership."
