Haiti Gets Divine Help

Much Needed Supplies Provided by Divine Imaging, a California Small Business Firm

BEVERLY HILLS, CA--(Marketwire - February 2, 2010) - As the people of Haiti continue searching for missing casualties of the huge earthquake that devastated their island paradise several weeks ago, the efforts of thousands from countries around the globe attempt to assist mitigating the effects of the awesome destruction, contributing food, supplies, medication and trained personnel.

Divine Imaging Inc., a woman-owned, small business and certified contractor for the US General Services Administration (GSA), was fully aware of the struggle by the Haitians, hearing of the disturbing accounts of the thousands of lives lost, the wounded survivors and both the lack of materials and funding. They determined to make a difference and by example made a sizeable contribution in both money and supplies to aid in restoring to those unfortunate people the necessities for survival.

The office of the General Supplies and Services commended the company for their swift action and offer of help in a letter stating, "You are already contributing... and your firm thus plays a part in this way to the Haiti response." Divine CEO Larry Abbott remarked that, "Though Haiti is 3,021 miles East of our office, we empathize with their plight, since California is frequently beset with the destructive force of earthquakes. In addition to their current outpouring of resources and money, the firm is creating an ongoing program to donate a portion of their sales to aid the Haitians and hope that it will encourage other small businesses to follow their example.
