Hard To Treat Diseases, Incorporated Announces Division Overview and Litigation Update

DELRAY BEACH, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 20, 2006 -- Hard To Treat Diseases, Incorporated (HTTD) (PINKSHEETS: HTDS) announces that the Company is engaged in two separate and distinct market segments: environmental (polystyrene recycling) and biotechnology (acquisition and testing of substances for the treatment of diseases).

HTTD's website is being redesigned with access to detailed information for shareholders and investors.

The Company is still involved in litigation as a result of the fraudulent acts committed by the prior officers and directors of HTTD.

A hearing is scheduled for September 29, 2006 in Oklahoma City regarding HTTD's "Motion to Compel." Ronald Shinn and Gerry Knight continue to refuse to turn over the records and documents of the two Oklahoma corporations we acquired in May 2003.

Oral argument is scheduled for the week of December 4, 2006 with the Eleventh Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals. Shareholders will be informed of the exact date, time and location once they are available.

These hearings are open to the public, so if you are in the area and available, it would be a great opportunity to witness our judicial system in action.
