HeadsUp Entertainment To Launch "Canadian Poker Player Television" on March 5, 2010

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Feb. 3, 2010)HeadsUp Entertainment International Inc. (PINK SHEETS:HDUP) is pleased to announce that is launching its own online poker television network on March 5, 2010. The network will be broadcast online at www.CanadianPokerPlayer.tv and will feature Canadian programming produced by the Company over the past 3 seasons plus original content and features targeted at both the Canadian and International poker playing audience. It is estimated that there are over 3,500,000 poker players in Canada, a country which is now the second largest online revenue generating country in the world in the poker industry. HeadsUp has produced over 20 hours of original programming from a series of major events in Canada and features poker pros and celebrities including Phil Hellmuth, Gavin Smith, Joe Hachem, Huck Seed, Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Laak and Jennifer Tilly.

The March 5th launch will begin streaming the beta test version of the network which will allow viewers to watch the streaming network program schedule as well as choosing from archived content that can be viewed on demand. Initial content will feature final table poker action from the Stampede Classic in Calgary Alberta, classic heads up matches between "Yukon" Brad Booth and Huckleberry Seed for the Canadian Open Poker Championships title and a must see match between Edmonton amateur Roger Sarna and WSOP Main Event Champion Joe Hachem. The network will also feature documentary programming showcasing a behind the scenes glimpse of the Canadian Poker Tour's Invitational Finals in the Dominican Republic and the 2007 Stampede Classic.

The network will work hand in hand with Heads-Up's publication, Canadian Poker Player Magazine. Featuring an in depth look at poker in Canada and exclusive coverage of the Canadian Poker Tour, a complete multi media package will be offered to sponsors to effectively target the highly sought after demographic that HeadsUp has cornered in Canada. Original content currently in production will follow both pro and celebrity poker players as well as many features from Canadian Poker Tour events across Canada. "There are so many amazing players and stories that we find on tour", stated HeadsUp President and CEO Kelly B. HeadsUp Entertainment is pleased to announce that it has come to an agreement with 888 Poker to be one of the first network sponsors, embedding content and commercials in the broadcast schedule and using the network as a platform to reach players with promotions and incentives on a real time schedule. "We believe we will see changes in the way sponsors react to their customers and having the ability to reach large scale audiences with on the spot promotions, I am excited to be able to deliver a medium for innovation of content delivery," stated Kellner.
