HealthPartners Member Satisfaction Highest in Minnesota According to New Independent Survey

BLOOMINGTON, MN--(Marketwire - September 25, 2007) - HealthPartners has the highest overall scores of member satisfaction among health plans in Minnesota according to an independent survey of consumers' experience with health care. The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey, which was released today, asks consumers 40 questions about their experience in key areas such as easy access to care, how well their doctor and nurse listens and how quickly their claims were processed. HealthPartners ranked above the national average in five of the eight key areas -- the most of any health plan in the state. In addition, HealthPartners had scores of 90 percent or higher in areas including: getting care as soon as it was needed and courteous and respectful treatment from HealthPartners customer service.
