Hillside Estate Winery & Bistro Are Proud to Announce Chef Robert Cordonier as Executive Chef

PENTICTON, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 15, 2010) -

Known for creativity and passion in the kitchen, Robert Cordonier has joined the team at Hillside Estate Winery & Bistro as Executive Chef. Most recently Chef Cordonier has worked at The Sonora Room Restaurant at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery with previous positions at some of this country's best restaurants.

Throughout his career, Chef Cordonier has focused on working with organic, local ingredients and has had many recipes published in popular cookbooks, including "Vancouver Cooks" and the upcoming "Basil Olive Oil Cookbook".

"My mission is to produce interesting flavor combinations to compliment our wines," said Chef Cordonier. "Our local farmers are growing incredible produce; I take great pride in showcasing their best."
