Homeland Integrated Security Systems Applies for Green Grant With North Carolina Board of Science and Technology

ARDEN, NC--(Marketwire - May 1, 2008) - Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HISU) is pleased to announce that the Company has filed an application with the North Carolina Board of Science and Technology to receive a Green Business Fund, or a "Green Grant." The grants encourage the development and commercialization of promising "green" technologies and will assist the Company in promoting the green benefits of its Cyber Tracker product line.

The Cyber Tracker technology quickly provides a return on investment for fleet managers as it can reduce their fuel costs, increases efficiency and saves thousands of dollars annually. These fuel savings also contribute towards reducing dependence on foreign energy and the negative effects of "Greenhouse" gases. The Cyber Tracker allows users, such as logistic companies, to analyze routing, stop/idle times, extraneous or unauthorized mileage, and excessive speeds, amongst other benefits.

"We are constantly looking at ways to develop our product so that it is beneficial to a wide variety of organizations in many different sales verticals. If awarded, the solicitation will provide us with funding that will help to further develop and market the environmentally friendly 'green' benefits of our Cyber Tracker to new customers," stated Alex Ensley, VP of Logistics for Homeland Integrated Security Systems.
