Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. Appoints Former Compaq Senior Manager as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales

ASHEVILLE, NC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 30, 2006 -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HISC) is pleased to announce that the Company has appointed Michael Roy as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales. Mr. Roy is a former Senior Marketing Director with Compaq/DEC and also has been a global business development executive with board (profit, non-profit) and venture funding experience.

Over the past 8 years, Michael Roy has held executive positions with several companies including, The Valuestreams Group, MOAI Technologies, and Whisper Communications. He was also formerly a Vice President with the NYSE-listed Federal Signal Corporation where he was responsible for building a $50 million corporate identification/communication global business with P&L and manufacturing responsibility.

Mr. Roy has demonstrated high-achieving leadership skills using value-based selling techniques, provided focused training initiatives that improved team performance, and operates well in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments. Mr. Roy received his Bachelor of Science, in Marketing from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA), from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business, in Chicago, Illinois.
