Homeminders Unveils Version 2.7 Featuring Partnership With ServiceMagic

Users Now Have Access to Prescreened and Homeowner-Rated Contractors for Home Maintenance Needs

(www.servicemagic.com) to streamline the time-consuming process of identifying local, reputable home service providers. This partnership enables users of the Homeminders Web-based service to access a constantly updated, robust local database of prescreened service professionals.

Additional features launched in Homeminders 2.7 allow homeowners to send specific email reminders directly to selected contractors, and to identify and be contacted by local service providers from the ServiceMagic.com nationwide network. The ServiceMagic.com network now includes more than 51,000 prescreened home service professionals, including contractors, landscapers, plumbers, electricians and more.

The Homeminders system creates a customized, complete maintenance plan that simplifies the management of a home and provides a central Web-based storage solution for owner's manuals, warranty documents, receipts and photo records. In addition, expertly written, personalized, monthly email reminders help homeowners make important decisions about their homes quickly and easily. With the addition of the ServiceMagic.com partnership and the 2.7 updates, homeowners now have the option to identify local service providers by category, or to be contacted directly by three or four providers that most closely match their search criteria.
