Hospitality Services Inc. Helps the Hershey Story Museum Celebrate Its 1st Year

The Museum Features Four Concepts Designed by Hospitality Services Inc.

BALTIMORE, MD--(Marketwire - January 25, 2010) - The Hershey Story: The Museum on Chocolate Avenue located in Hershey, PA celebrates the anniversary of its inaugural year this month. Despite economic woes, The Hershey Story attracted more than 150,000 visitors in its first year. To celebrate the occasion, the museum is offering a special discounted ticket package featuring access to all of the museum's attractions.

The M.S Hershey Foundation opened the museum to inspire and engage visitors by sharing the inspirational story and history of founder Milton S. Hershey, the man synonymous with inventing the "Great American Chocolate Bar." The museum features four attractions, two of which are foodservice concepts, designed by Hospitality Services Inc., a Baltimore-based foodservice planning and design firm.

"HSI was instrumental in developing exactly what we envisioned for the museum," said Amy Bischof, Associate Director of the Hershey Story Museum. "The four attractions designed by HSI have proven to be favored destinations for our visitors."

Working closely with LSC Architects and The M.S. Hershey Foundation, HSI designed the museum's Chocolate Lab, Café Zooka, Countries of Origin Chocolate Tasting, and Museum Shop.

The Chocolate Lab, which features hands-on experiments and demonstrations, hosted more than 35,000 students in educational chocolate-themed science, history, and economic classes.

HSI's designs for Café Zooka created a comfortable environment where visitors can unwind while enjoying fine foods with an emphasis on chocolate before enjoying the other fun-interactive features the museum has to offer.

Two additional designs, The Countries of Origin Chocolate Tasting in Café Zooka which features exotic chocolates from around the world and The Museum Shop which sells merchandise and souvenirs including chocolate-based cookbooks, demonstrate the versatility of HSI's design-style capabilities.
