HouseRaising Names Katonya B. Riley as General Manager of Its Gulf Coast Operations

CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwire - October 18, 2007) - HouseRaising, Inc. (OTCBB: HRAI), a custom homebuilder and managed service provider to the custom homebuilding industry, announced today that Katonya B. Riley has been named general manager of its Gulf Coast operations.

As general manager of its Gulf Coast region, Ms. Riley will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations in Mississippi and Louisiana, including oversight of its New Orleans and Gulfport, MS offices and the Mid-City New Orleans Design Center.

A long-time resident of New Orleans, Ms. Riley has been a licensed building contractor in the State of Louisiana for ten years.

Before owning her own construction company in the area, Ms. Riley was sales manager of Ultra-Chem, Inc., a construction company in Metairie, LA, for four years. She is a graduate of the University of New Orleans and holds a Master of Arts Degree in Arts Administration.

Ms. Riley provides excellent homebuilding management skills for HouseRaising's custom homebuilding and renovation divisions. Under Ms. Riley's direction, HouseRaising currently has numerous homes under construction, and looks forward to assisting with the rebuilding of the Gulf Coast area.

She is married and has three children. Her husband, Warren Riley, serves as superintendent of the New Orleans police department.
