Hudson Releases Seismic Reflection Survey Images

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - May 16, 2006) - HUDSON RESOURCES INC. ("Hudson") (TSX VENTURE:HUD) is pleased to provide the following update on its recent seismic reflection survey over the diamond bearing Garnet Lake dike. The seismic survey was conducted to assist in the further delineation of the diamondiferous Garnet Lake kimberlite dike and suggests that adequate tonnage may well be present for an economic project.

- Each of the 4 survey lines has imaged a structure which is coincident with the Garnet Lake kimberlite dike as outlined in the 2005 drilling program;

- The down-dip extension of the "main" structure has been imaged to a minimum distance of 2,200m;

- The minimum potential strike of the dike is 1,400m assuming continuity seen in the tie-line; and

- Hudson has published images of all four seismic lines on the Company's website.

Frontier Geosciences Inc. of North Vancouver, BC has now processed the complete 6 line km survey completed over the Garnet Lake area. Each of the processed images show significant reflection patterns indicative of a discrete structure which is coincident with the dike as outlined in the 2005 exploration program. On Line 1, Hudson completed over 2,000m of seismic testing over the main Garnet Lake occurrence. The image is included below (and available at for reference where this press release has been distributed as text only).

The image shows a body outcropping at the surface which is consistent with seven drill intercepts in the Garnet Lake dike. The structure is dipping at approximately 30 degrees to the right (east) (to view the image please click on the following link:

"We are certainly looking forward to confirming the extension of the dike with our upcoming drill program which is scheduled to start within the next 2 weeks," stated James Tuer, President. "Typically, seismic images can be very difficult to interpret; however, we have decided to include the raw image in this release because we believe that it readily demonstrates a visible structure. The fact that it is coincident with our earlier drill program and diamondiferous kimberlite bodes well for ultimately confirming a large tonnage deposit. Drilling, combined with a bulk sample will provide us with key data needed to delineate the project."

Hudson Resources Inc. is a diamond exploration company focused on a 100% owned 2,400 sq km licence area near Sarfartoq, West Greenland. In 2004, the Company located the first highly diamondiferous kimberlite occurrence in Greenland with the recovery of 151 diamonds from a 108 kg sample. In 2005, Hudson found additional sources of significantly diamondiferous kimberlite in drill core at Garnet Lake. Dr. Mark Hutchison, Trigon GeoServices Ltd., is in charge of the ongoing exploration program in Greenland. Cliff Candy, P.Geo., senior geophysicist in charge of the seismic survey and a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101 has reviewed this press release. Hudson currently trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "HUD" and has 20.8 million shares outstanding.
