Outstanding communications talent in BC was celebrated atop The Fairmont Vancouver on Wednesday, June 3, surrounded by spectacular city scenery. Global BC's Sophie Lui emceed The Sky's The Limit: The 2009 IABC/BC Bronze Quill Awards Gala, which recognized the communications expertise in the following categories:

- Marketing Communications

- Strategic Communication Processes

- Electronic and Digital Communication

- Publications

- Employee/Member Communication

- Human Resources and Benefits Communications

This year's selected winners were published in the 2009 Bronze Quill Program and included individuals from a wide range of industries, including: Vancouver Coastal Health, the BC Securities Commission, BC Public Service Agency, Workforce Planning and Leadership Secretariat, Insurance Corporation of British Columbia and Simon Fraser Student Society.
