ICON Health & Fitness Honors Executive

Lynn Brenchley Retires

LOGAN, UT--(Marketwire - May 29, 2007) - Lynn Brenchley, a Vice President of Logan-based ICON Health & Fitness, will retire from the company after 18 years of service.

"Lynn joined ICON when our company and the fitness industry experienced tremendous growth," said David Watterson, ICON's Chief Executive Officer. "Lynn's range of management experience was a valuable resource for the management team during a crucial span of our history. We appreciate his contributions and wish him a healthy and enjoyable retirement."

In 1989, Brenchley joined what was then ProForm, Inc., when total fitness industry sales were only $1.7 billion. Today, Brenchley leaves a company that has grown to be the market share leader in the $5.3 billion fitness industry.

Among the many assignments throughout his ICON career were the merger and acquisition of various companies that fueled ICON's growth. Brenchley integrated and managed acquisitions including the WeiderCare light exercise products division, the plastics injection-molding division and HealthRider division.

In 1998, Brenchley was called to serve as a Mission President for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as the Mission President for the Australia-Melbourne West Mission.

When Brenchley returned to ICON in July 2001, he resumed his assignment as VP, Business Development.

"ICON's biggest unsung asset is its people, and the quality and goodness of its managers," Brenchley said. "I've been proud to be associated with great people, innovative product and an industry that can truly change people's lives."

Brenchley said he and his wife, Villa, look forward to retirement and spending more time with their 5 children and 10 grandchildren. He plans more golf, travel and service projects. Brenchley is a member of the Fifth Quorum of Seventy for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
