IDO Security Increases Marketing Efforts in UK Following MagShoe™ Approval From British Government

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL--(Marketwire - December 22, 2009) - IDO Security, Inc. (OTCBB: IDOI) (, developer of the innovative MagShoe™ "shoes-on" weapons metal detection system, announced today that the they have stepped up sales and marketing activities in the United Kingdom following the approval of the MagShoe™ by the British Government as well as recent inquiries and RFQ.

"The recent inquiries and RFQ are not surprising as the MagShoe™ did receive the approval of the British Department for Transport (DfT) for use in UK Airports. This approval was given following a long process of testing and evaluation conducted by the UK Home Office's PSDB (Police Scientific Development Branch) at its facility and field tests at Gatwick Airport in London," stated Dani Werber, International Marketing Manager for IDO Security Ltd.

Mr. Werber further stated, "Although the approval was given some time ago, it took time to find the right partners for this very professional demanding market and for changes to happen in the UK security market. We are scheduled to demonstrate and run some Pilot Programs in the UK during the coming months and do believe 2010 will see many MagShoe™ installations across the UK."
