INFRAX Systems (IFXY) and Trimax Wireless Announce Completion of Successful Project

African ISP Project Moves to Next Phase

ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA and NAPLES, FL--(Marketwire - May 6, 2010) - INFRAX SYSTEMS, Inc. (OTCBB: IFXY), a global provider of interrelated operational management, and communications-related products and services for the Telecommunications and Energy industry, today announced that Trimax Wireless has completed the first phase of the network deployment being built for their customer in Abuja, Nigeria. Infrax previously announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Trimax Wireless, Inc. (Trimax), a privately-held, leading edge designer, developer and manufacturer of advanced broadband wireless equipment and other innovative technologies.

This network was designed and deployed utilizing the TMAX™ wireless broadband platform exclusive to Trimax. This first phase included US$1.5 Million in equipment and infrastructure, including the NOC (Network Operating Center) and the initial Tier 1 towers that make up the structure for the backbone of the city-wide wireless broadband network. This network, which has also been outfitted with solar power for remote locations, will be used to deliver high speed internet service and low cost telephone service to the entire region.

The Abuja project now moves into its second phase of deployment, in which Trimax will add the next tier of base stations throughout the region. The approximate value of this phase is US$5 Million in equipment. The complete project will cover three of the four largest metropolitan areas in Nigeria and reach 60% of the 180 million people living there. The estimated value of the entire project, including CPEs (Customer Premise Equipment) is approximately US$60 million at completion.

Trimax's customer has recently acquired a portion of the 2.5 GHz spectrum in Nigeria for the purpose of adding WiMAX to the service offering that will now include IPTV services. This spectrum will allow Trimax to showcase their new 802.16e-2005 based WiMAX products.

The Abuja network is the first of Trimax's new G.E.M.I.N.I. (Global Emerging Markets Intelligent Network Infrastructure) initiative. In addition to the Smart Grid related products being developed with INFRAX, Trimax has found an attractive niche in the opportunities that arise from these developing countries, and has established a business model that can operate successfully in these challenging environments. Trimax products are uniquely qualified to create high performance IP networking infrastructure over large geographic areas in the most efficient and cost effective manner.

The Company is currently in discussions with numerous other operators in Africa, India, the Middle East, Latin America, and rural/underserved markets in the U.S. for additional contracts which have the potential to substantially augment the scope and scale of Trimax's broadband equipment business over the coming year.

Trimax and INFRAX have entered into an agreement for the purchase of Trimax, subject to due diligence over the next 60 days.
