SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - April 27, 2010) -  IODA, the global leader in digital distribution, marketing, and technology solutions for the independent music industry, has coordinated a one-of-a-kind roll-out for a one-of-a-kind album. Please Don't Tell Me How The Story Ends: The Publishing Demos, 1968-72 features unreleased recordings from legendary singer-songwriter Kris Kristofferson. IODA's marketing services arranged a first-ever worldwide digital exclusive on Amazon MP3 for the album's launch. Released by Light In The Attic Records, a label known for innovative reissues and care of historic recordings, the label worked with Kristofferson's blessing over the past five years to compile the 16-song collection of unreleased material after it was discovered in Nashville.

"Releasing Kris' long forgotten publishing demos has been an absolute honor for all of us here at Light In The Attic as well as co-producer Mark Linn," said Matt Sullivan, founder/co-owner Light In The Attic Records. "Collaborating with both IODA and Amazon in this global exclusive is an exciting partnership for sixteen songs that have become part of the great American songbook."

For the historic album, IODA Marketing Services conceived and coordinated the worldwide digital exclusive album sale at Amazon MP3, the first of its kind for the retailer. It will be exclusively available in all Amazon MP3 stores (United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France) from April 27 through May 11, 2010. During the same period, will offer an exclusive CD sale in the United States.

NPR Music, an industry leader in music discovery, will present an exclusive on-demand stream of the album beginning April 26 as part of its "First Listen" series at

"The relationships our marketing group has developed with both digital retail outlets and promotional outlets enable us to create exciting exposure for the artists and labels we work with," said Adam Rabinovitz, VP of Client Management and Marketing at IODA. "Music icon Kris Kristofferson's global notoriety and impressive career spanning nearly five decades made this a great fit for the first worldwide exclusive on Amazon MP3. We're excited to continue to work in partnership with Light In The Attic to bring great, classic recordings from this music legend to both existing fans and new listeners around the world."

Grammy® Award-winning music icon Kris Kristofferson has had a distinguished career encompassing the authorship of such classic American songs as "Me and Bobby McGee," "Just The Other Side of Nowhere," and "Please Don't Tell Me How The Story Ends."
