ISCS's SurePower Innovation Policy Administration Suite Selected by Mississippi Windstorm Underwriting Association & the Mississippi Residential Property Insurance Underwriting Association

SAN JOSE, CA and JACKSON, MS--(Marketwire - August 17, 2010) -  ISCS is pleased to announce the Mississippi Windstorm Underwriting Association (MWUA) and the Mississippi Residential Property Insurance Underwriting Association (MRPIUA) recently selected ISCS's SurePower Innovation® Policy Administration Suite and hosted services to increase efficiencies in administering the policies placed with the state's insurer of last resort for selected perils. SurePower Innovation's technology enables the cost-efficiencies of having both MWUA and MRPIUA coverage offerings administered through a single system.

"We at MWUA and MRPIUA are very excited and eager to begin using SurePower Innovation," said Joe Shumaker, manager and executive director of MWUA. "SurePower Innovation contains the features and technology we were looking for in a new policy management system. The team at ISCS has been very knowledgeable and professional and we look forward to establishing a strong partnership."

Implementation of SurePower Innovation will significantly enhance both plans' policy administration capabilities and ability to serve the people of Mississippi. MWUA's policy base has nearly tripled since Hurricane Katrina. SurePower Innovation's highly-scalable technology means the MWUA and MRPIUA can efficiently manage present, and even higher, policy numbers.

ISCS's SurePower Innovation Policy Administration Suite also has the ability to expand rapidly from a few claims examiners and managers accessing the system to hundreds or even thousands that might be deployed following a major catastrophe. As a fully web-based system, SurePower Innovation delivers the security of a hosted system, whose facilities will not be affected by a Mississippi catastrophe, and enables people with only Internet access to file claims and claims processors to administer claims from any location.

"We at ISCS are looking forward to working with MWUA/MRPIUA," said Andy Scurto, ISCS president and CTO. "We feel that the implementation of SurePower Innovation will provide the residents of Mississippi the peace of mind that comes from having a secure and efficient system in place to meet the needs of those covered by these plans when they most need it."
