ISO Recertifications Reflect BCI Burke's Commitment to Quality, Sound Environmental Practices

FOND DU LAC, WI--(Marketwire - November 11, 2009) - BCI Burke has received positive reviews resulting from its recertification audit for quality and its surveillance audit for environmental management processes.

"These audits are of critical importance in demonstrating BCI Burke's commitment to the highest quality and environmental standards, as demonstrated by our ISO 9001:2008 Certification and our ISO 14001:2004 Certification," said Tim Ahern, owner/CEO of the company.

The ISO 9001:2008 Certification requires compliance with an international set of quality standards that provide a structure to ensure that all operational processes are effective and carried out consistently. The ISO 14001:2004 Certification reflects BCI Burke's environmental management systems and specific policy commitments that include compliance with all environmental laws and regulations.

"The ISO standards correctly require that companies continue to use sound, consistent practices with regard to quality and environmental sustainability. We're proud of these accomplishments, but we know we can never rest on our laurels. Our success on these audits demonstrates our continuing focus on meeting the very highest standards for quality and environmental management," said Mark Sondergard, owner/COO of the company.
