ITC Awarded Two-time MP3 Vendor of the Year by Future Shop/Best Buy Canada

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - May 11, 2006) - International Technologies Corporation ("ITC") (TSX VENTURE:ITI), announced today that it has won "Vendor of the Year Award" for the second time at Future Shop/Best Buy's annual May conference.

"We are honored to be chosen again for this award and to participate in the incredible success our retail partner continues to experience in the portable audio category. Given the tremendous change that happens daily in the electronics industry, it is unprecedented for a vendor to win this type of award two years in a row. It speaks volumes about our ability to meet the needs of our customers and we are happy to do so," said Michael Uhm, ITC's President and CEO.

Jason Osborne, Merchandise Manager at Best Buy Canada commented on ITC's win: "Each year, we honor a select few within our vendor community who truly define 'partnership'. ITC's dedication to our success is unrivalled, from their logistics and sales team, both here in Canada and Korea, to their personal involvement in our day to day business. We congratulate and appreciate their efforts."

According to reports by US research firm In-Stat, the market for flash-based and hard-disk drive (HDD)-based portable audio players will more than double in the next five years, from 140 million units in 2005 to 286 million by 2010. Driving the rapid growth, the firm notes, is falling price points, the availability of legitimate subscription and pay-per-download online music websites, increasing flash memory capacities, and enhanced functionality.

ITC will continue delivering exciting digital entertainment products that meet the changing needs of consumers and provide its partners with service that is second to none in the electronics industry.
