InMage Named as Finalist for 2010 Red Herring 100 North America Award

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - June 16, 2010) -  InMage® (www.inmage.com), the leading independent software vendor of disk-based business application and disaster recovery solutions, has been selected as a finalist for Red Herring's North America 100 award, which honors the year's most promising private technology ventures in North America. The Red Herring editorial team selected the most innovative technology companies from a pool of hundreds from across North America. The finalists will present their winning strategies at the Red Herring North America Conference in San Diego, June 22-24, 2010. The top 100 winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony on June 24 at the event.

The nominees are evaluated on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy, and integration into their respective industries. This unique assessment of potential is complemented by a review of the actual track record and standing of a company, which allows Red Herring to see past the "buzz" and make the list an invaluable instrument for discovering and advocating the greatest business opportunities in the industry.

"It is a great honor and distinction for InMage to be chosen as a finalist for Red Herring's North America 100," said John Ferraro, president and CEO of InMage. "The Red Herring 100 list is an instrument for discovering and advocating the most promising private ventures from around the world. InMage's software transforms the way corporate America protects and recovers two of its major assets -- business data and applications -- in an environment where they must be continuously accessible and recoverable after simple downtime events or full scale natural disasters. We are proud of the contributions of our team, the success we've achieved, and the trust our customers continue to place in our products."

"This year was especially difficult," said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. "Despite the global economic situation, there were many great companies producing really innovative and amazing products, and we had a difficult time narrowing the pool and selecting the finalists. InMage shows great promise and therefore deserves to be among the finalists. We are confident the company will achieve great things."
