InStorage REIT Announces New Senior Management Appointment

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 29, 2008) - InStorage Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX:IS.UN) announced today that Ms. Judy Kan has been appointed Senior Vice President, Investments. Ms. Kan's responsibilities will include acquisitions, asset management and debt strategy.

Prior to joining InStorage, Ms. Kan was Senior Vice President Real Estate for a major Canadian hotel REIT. She has twenty years of commercial real estate experience in the office, industrial, retail, residential and hotel sectors, including lending, pension fund management and asset management. She holds an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia, and is a qualified member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
