The Indianapolis Colts Enhance New Social Networking Portal With Omniture Web Analytics

Super Bowl XLI Champs Use Omniture SiteCatalyst® to More Fully Engage Fans on MyColts.net

OREM, UT--(Marketwire - November 6, 2007) - Omniture, Inc. (NASDAQ: OMTR), a leading provider of online business optimization software, today announced that the Indianapolis Colts -- Super Bowl XLI Champs and one of the most popular NFL teams of the last decade -- are using Omniture SiteCatalyst Web analytics to measure visitor activity across their recently launched social networking portal, MyColts.net. As one of the first NFL teams to create a site solely dedicated to fan interaction, the Colts are using Omniture to not only measure the effectiveness of blogs, videos, fan group forums and other social media, but they are also determining the impact MyColts.net has on driving increased traffic to the team's main site, Colts.com.

"MyColts.net represents a networking community for our fans -- an online environment where people can discuss ideas and form sports-based relationships by discussing similar interests," said Pat Coyle, executive director of digital business for the Indianapolis Colts. "Omniture allows us to ensure MyColts.net members are finding value in our highly interactive site and provides us with the information we need to meet our community's needs."

After launching MyColts.net, the Colts were able to measure the online community's activity in real-time. Coyle was able to segment visitors by geographic region, or by similar behavioral traits on MyColts.net -- enabling the organization to customize content for multiple fan groups and allowing sponsors to deliver highly targeted ads.

In addition, Omniture revealed that after the first month, MyColts.net was the fourth highest referral source to Colts.com -- coming in behind nfl.com, Google, and Yahoo!. In terms of a quantifiable traffic increase to Colts.com, Coyle observed an increase of 33,000 page views in a one-day snapshot comparison over the previous year.
