Indicee announces that Co-founder and CEO Mark Cunningham will be speaking at the Under the Radar conference in Mountain View, California on April 16th, 2010.

Participating in the "Under the Radar: Cloud" panel, Cunningham will be showcasing Indicee, 'pitch'-style (as is customary at Under the Radar) among the most influential minds in technology and business from around the world. Other speakers include executives from Bank of America, ING, MTV, Digg, Intuit, Salesforce, and Rackspace.

One of only three Canadian technology companies invited to participate in Under the Radar, Indicee, as represented by Mark Cunningham, will showcase a company vision 20 years in the making and backed by vast experience in business intelligence and reporting markets. Cunningham will also highlight Indicee's capabilities and success since it was brought to the 'masses' when launched in late 2009.

  1. Indicee is SMB-friendly. Indicee is ideal for those business users who may not have access to technical skills or IT resources.
  1. Indicee is quick. From sign-up to creating reports, Indicee commits to having customers up and running with their own data in less than 48 hours, versus the typical weeks to months required to implement on-premise BI.
  1. Indicee can read data from Crystal Reports files, Excel spreadsheets and CSV files, the most common data output formats in the world. They are the only company among competitors currently able to do all 3 formats.
  1. Indicee enables users to query data. They built a dead-simple interface that allows users to ask business questions in plain English. Reports and visualizations are then produced on-demand from data uploaded to the cloud, eliminating hours of tedious cutting and pasting of data with no required training.
  1. Indicee is cost effective. Indicee has a low cost – try before you buy – model, attractive to those businesses that cannot afford a "traditional" BI solution. Indicee is delivered via SaaS deployment, leaving no software to install and configure.

Under the Radar, hosted by Dealmaker Media, provides a platform for early-stage innovation and emerging startups to identify trends. Leading up to the event, the hosts interview approximately 150 applicants to select a small group of presenting companies to showcase at the annual event.

Within the past 3 years alone, companies selected to present at Under the Radar have leveraged the experience:

  • 49% have gone on to raise funding or be acquired
  • 14% have been acquired by companies such as Google, eBay, Microsoft, Yahoo and Cisco
  • $14 Million average has been raised by presenting companies

Under the Radar is designed to connect CEOs, technology executives, investors, analysts and press together with one ultimate goal: to get the deal done.

The "Under the Radar: Cloud" conference will take place on April 16th, 2010 at 8:00am-6:00pm PST at the Microsoft Conference Centre in Mountain View, California, USA.
