Indonesia's Largest ISP Improves the Customer Experience With Procera Networks' Evolved DPI Platform

Open API, Intuitive Reporting Tools Enable Tier-1 Operator Cyberindo Aditama to Maximize Network Resources and Reduce Customer Complaints

LOS GATOS, CA--(Marketwire - August 4, 2008) - Procera® Networks Inc. (AMEX: PKT), a developer of Evolved Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) solutions providing the most accurate traffic awareness, control and protection for complex networks, today announced that Cyberindo Aditama, Indonesia's largest Internet Service Provider (ISP), is using Procera's award-winning PacketLogic™ platform to optimize network performance. CBN, which serves 182 cities, is using PacketLogic PL7620 to boost network performance and create multiple tiers of service.

"We are currently using Procera to equitably distribute guaranteed bandwidth to our cable subscriber base and we really enjoy the detailed real-time reporting PacketLogic offers," said Tony Hariman, CBN's CTO. "We find it very useful for troubleshooting and capacity planning and are currently extending PacketLogic to our other access networks -- DSL, 3G, MDU Wi-Fi -- for the same purpose. Our goal is to leverage PacketLogic technology across all of the networks serving our residential subscriber base."

Hariman made the switch from Cisco technology to Procera due to performance, open API and reporting tools. He also notes that many cable subscribers hack their modems to obtain unauthorized bandwidth, but with PacketLogic, CBN can prevent that.

"In today's highly competitive market, the quality of the customer's experience must be maintained in order to retain subscribers," said Jon Lindén, Procera's VP of Global Marketing. "PacketLogic allows ISPs to not only address bandwidth pressures for an ideal experience, but to identify and add new revenue-generating services without impacting network latency."

CBN's successful deployment adds to Procera's worldwide growth, as PacketLogic is now used by more than 400 customers, including of ILECs, CLECs, PTTs and other broadband service providers that are meeting their goals through patent-pending next-generation technology that provides deep visibility into and control over network traffic. Recently announced customers also include Korea University, Spanish broadband operator Yoigo, Scandinavia cable operator ComHem and Swinburne University in Australia. In addition, Procera has been augmenting its product and services portfolio with the spring announcements of the new PacketLogic PL10000 and the expansion of the ProceraPro reseller program in the EMEA region.
