SIP trunking, when delivered by an Internet Telephony Service Provider (ITSP), offers significant cost savings by eliminating the need for PSTN and media gateways, as well as BRI/PRI connections. By connecting a company's legacy phone system and the Internet, SIP trunks allow voice traffic to travel over the data network, resulting in significantly lower costs for the provider and, therefore, the customer. SIP trunking also enables streamlined management and provisioning. SIP trunking is not without its challenges, however. To benefit from the technology, companies must pay especially close attention to integration and quality of service.

The Webinar will cover timely topics such as:

-- Lessons learned from SIP-PSTN integration into environments such as
    Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2;
-- SIP trunking as a cost-effective alternative to traditional PSTN
    connection; and
--  Integration and interoperability challenges.

A white paper titled "The Benefits of Using a Demarcation Device When Integrating Legacy Voice, SIP Trunks and Microsoft OCS R2" will be made available to all attendees free of charge.
