Infinity Mining Announces Latest Assay Results

WURTSBORO, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 20, 2006 -- Infinity Mining Corp. (Canada) (PINKSHEETS: IFYGF) announced today that Infinity Mining Corp. (Canada) has just received the results of an assay conducted by SGS Lakefield Research Limited on a sample submitted and described by Infinity Mining Corp. as a "235 gm (20%) concentrate from tabling 1,151 gm of head ore roasted for 2 hrs." SGS found 12.77 grams per metric ton of gold, which translates to 0.372 troy ounces per short ton of this pre-treated sample. The sample was pre treated according to a proprietary, patent pending method developed by Infinity.

Allan Sanford, President/CEO of Infinity, stated, "We went to SGS since they are an acknowledged leader in the field of assays. Their reputation is impeccable, and their findings are not questioned by the mining community. The amount of gold they found in our ore is consistent with what previous assays produced, so we were not surprised. Now we are turning our attention to getting our pilot mill up and running."

A summary of assays done, dating back to 1991, are available by registering on Infinity's web site, and going to Investor Center, then Corporate Documents.
