Infonetics Research: Content security gateway market up 5% in 3Q09; expecting strong close to 2009

CAMPBELL, CA--(Marketwire - December 2, 2009) - Market research firm Infonetics Research ( released the 3Q09 edition of its Content Security Appliances and Software report, which tracks content security gateway software and messaging, Web/malware, and integrated appliances.

    service (SaaS), the changing threat landscape, smartphone protection, and
    social networks
--  The North American content security gateway market is expected to pass
    the $1 billion mark for the first time in 2009
