Infonetics Research expands video market coverage with newest analyst Bill Windsor

Bill Windsor joined Infonetics Research in August 2010 as an accomplished video and wireless technology expert, bringing to Infonetics over 20 years of video, multimedia, and wireless and wired communications experience. Bill's video equipment technical expertise includes broadband carrier residential gateways and set-top boxes, digital video streaming over IP networks, satellite video and satellite radio, and consumer electronics, including analog and digital television, DVR, and Blu-ray players.

Prior to joining Infonetics, Bill worked as Director of Product Marketing in both large and small semiconductor companies emphasizing video, audio, and wireless applications, including Marvell Semiconductor, Analog Devices, Quantenna Communications, RF Magic, and ESS Technology. Bill's product line management experience emphasizes solutions servicing telco IPTV, satellite TV, and cable TV carriers, as well as consumer and industrial video systems. He led product marketing and division revenue growth in companies addressing video and audio multimedia markets, one of which grew to over $200 million in sales and another to over $100 million, and led two more to successful acquisition.

As Infonetics' Directing Analyst for IPTV and Video, Bill tracks services, subscribers, and equipment, including set-top boxes, VOD and streaming content servers, encoders, middleware, content protection software, and mobile video. He authors regular market share and forecast reports, interviews service providers around the world about their priorities and deployment plans, and writes Continuous Research Service (CRS) analysis on hot topics in the IPTV and video industry.
