InforSense and GenomeQuest Announce Partnership to Deliver Biological Sequence-Based Workflows to Enable Intellectual Property Management and Life Science Research

GenomeQuest Joins InforSense Open Workflow Partner Network to Provide Flexible, High-Throughput Biological Sequence-Based Data Analysis

LONDON, CAMBRIDGE, MA and WESTBOROUGH, MA--(Marketwire - September 26, 2007) - InforSense Ltd., the leading provider of embedded enterprise intelligence, today announced that the company has joined forces with GenomeQuest, the leading provider of software and data for biological sequence analysts in biotech research and law. The companies are integrating their technologies to allow researchers to better probe their data and share their work process across different research domains. GenomeQuest has also joined the InforSense Open Workflow Partner Network.

The integration of GenomeQuest's unique information platform for analyzing sequence-based biological and patent content from dozens of private and public sources worldwide and InforSense's integrated, interactive workflow-based analytics technology allows attorneys, researchers, and business managers to identify promising research opportunities quickly and accurately.

InforSense customers will now be able to access GenomeQuest's sequence and patent record databases directly through the InforSense platform, via a node that sends data requests to the GenomeQuest™ sequence search and analysis platform -- and seamlessly returns relevant "hits" and analysis to end-users. The collaboration was driven by requests from common InforSense and GenomeQuest customers, and the enabling technology comprises a newly developed API soon to be available in the anticipated next generation of the company's flagship software, GenomeQuest™.

Michael McManus, PhD, Vice President and General Manager of GenomeQuest, Inc., said, "We're delighted to be working closely with a partner of InforSense's caliber on this 'open system' undertaking. This collaboration is designed to provide biologists at our common customer sites with built-in access to GenomeQuest's sequence and patent data, building new data retrieval capabilities into their workflow, so they can more accurately evaluate business and scientific opportunities from both a genomics and intellectual property standpoint. We're looking forward to very promising outcomes from this partnership."

"Our relationship with GenomeQuest brings immediate value to our mutual customers by providing flexible, high-throughput biological sequence-based data analysis," said Jonathan Sheldon, PhD, Chief Scientific Officer, InforSense. "We are pleased to have GenomeQuest as part of our Open Workflow Partner Network to expand the capabilities available through the InforSense platform."

The InforSense Open Workflow Partner Network provides interoperability between industry leading technologies via the InforSense platform. Mutual customers benefit from proven integration between their tools of choice across scientific and business analytics via an intuitive visual workflow interface.
