Information Bulletin: Public Consultation Regarding the Management Plans for the Fortifications of Quebec, Saint-Louis Forts and Chateaux and Montmorency Park National Historic Sites of Canada

QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC,--(CCNMatthews - May 15, 2006) - Parks Canada is currently holding a public consultation in regards to the revision of the Fortifications of Quebec, Saint-Louis Forts and Chateaux and Montmorency Park National Historic Sites of Canada Management Plans. The goal of this consultation is to give interested people and organizations a chance to express their concerns and points of view regarding the future of these historic sites.

Information and exchange sessions will be held in order to allow Parks Canada to present the main points being considered for the development of the site in the coming years. Meetings will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the Chateau Frontenac hotel. The first session will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the second will be held at 7:30 p.m.
