InformationWeek Publishes Windward EVP's Story on Automated Patch Management

HERNDON, VA--(Marketwire - November 27, 2007) - Windward, the premier operational management consulting and systems engineering firm, announced today that InformationWeek kicked off its rolling review of automated patch management software with an article by Windward executive vice president Michael Biddick. As application and operating system vulnerabilities continue to rise, many software vendors are looking to help IT groups keep up with patching to avoid security violations and vulnerabilities. In this article, Biddick makes the case that automation is critical from documentation to testing to deployment, and he provides a preview of the types of software solutions to be tested in the Windward Real-World Labs.
