Leading Provider of Automatic Follow-Up Software Creates New Department to Forge Partnerships and Introduces New Leadership to Its Marketing Team

GILBERT, AZ--(Marketwire - November 4, 2009) - Infusionsoft, the leader in automatic follow-up software for small businesses, today announced the creation of a Business Development department aimed at cultivating strategic partnerships that will deliver added value to Infusionsoft's customer base. The company also announced the appointment of Dave Lee, an Infusionsoft veteran, as vice president of the newly created department and Tyler Garns to the position of vice president of marketing. Dave Lee previously served as vice president of marketing and Tyler Garns previously served as director of marketing.

"We are looking forward to broadening our partnership program with the creation of the Business Development department, and feel that it is a venture worthy of dedicated resources," said Clate Mask, CEO and co-founder of Infusionsoft. "Strategic partnerships are a significant opportunity for us to improve our offerings and better serve our customers."

As vice president of business development, Lee will lead a team whose goal will be to forge relationships through the company's existing Partner Program and with new partners that will expand Infusionsoft's reach, improve the company's product, and provide maximum value for customers. Lee has over 15 years of experience in marketing, lead generation, strategic planning, sales and business development, and served as the vice president of Marketing for Infusionsoft for the past five years. Lee has been responsible for all aspects of marketing including promotion, advertising, social media, public relations and growing Infusionsoft into a powerful lead-generation company and a leading Internet marketing resource.

"As a longtime partner of Infusionsoft, I'm excited about the direction and expertise that Dave will bring to the Business Development team," said marketing and business growth expert Dan Bradbury. "Strategic partnerships are key to business success and momentum in today's environment, and this represents a competitive move from a smart company." Through his partnership with Infusionsoft, Bradbury himself grew his business by more than 340 percent and earned $740,000 in revenue in 2009, despite the recession.

Tyler Garns will take over Lee's role as the vice president of marketing for Infusionsoft. With over 10 years of experience in the field, Garns is a recognized expert in Internet marketing and has spent the last two years developing the online elements of Infusionsoft's marketing program as director of marketing.
