Innova Robotics & Automation Announces Board Changes

Chuck House Becomes Chairman; Company Committed to Software Professional Services for 2008 and Beyond

FT. MYERS, FL--(Marketwire - January 7, 2008) - Innova Robotics & Automation (OTCBB: INRA) appointed Charles "Chuck" House as Chairman of the Board. House's strong background in software, instrumentation and systems integration will help guide the Company's focus on software and software professional services.

House is Executive Director for Media X at Stanford University, as well as Senior Research Scholar in the HSTAR (Human Science and Technology Advanced Research) Division. Instrumental in establishing the Center for Information Technologies and Society at the University of California, Santa Barbara, he has a long involvement in Information Systems and their impact on society. House is perhaps best known for work at Hewlett-Packard in defining and creating the logic analysis instrumentation field, which was inspired by earlier work in computer graphics displays. Most recently, he led the Virtual Collaboratory for Intel's IT Innovation Research group.

He has accumulated numerous awards including the IDSA Gold Medals for Software, 1989, 1990; IEEE Fellow, 1990; EE Times Historic Contributor Award, 1997; IEEE 3rd Millennium Achievement Award, 2000; and Electronic Design Hall of Fame. House also has extensive advisory experience and has served as Chairman on several boards with technology companies and universities. From 2003-2007 he was Chairman of a privately held software company named top 25 Innovative Companies (c.f. Fortune May 19, 2004). His formal education includes a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics and three Master's degrees each in Electrical Engineering, History of Science and Business Administration.

"We are delighted to have Chuck as Chairman of the Board," said Gene Gartlan, CEO. "I believe his leadership and technology experience in software and IT solutions will be a great asset to Innova and CoroWare as we position ourselves for growth in 2008."

In July 2007, Innova announced its Strategic Plan highlighting the need to shift its focus and resources to more fully support its subsidiary CoroWare. Over the past year, CoroWare has grown its revenues by focusing on the sale of product realization, software development and IT deployment services through its business automation and mobile service robotics products, including the CoroWare CoroBot product line. In the coming year, CoroWare intends to continue to expand its range of services, solutions and products.

"As Chairman of Innova, Chuck House's wealth of experience and depth of knowledge will further strengthen CoroWare's ability to expand its business worldwide," said Lloyd Spencer, CEO of CoroWare. "The CoroWare management team looks forward to working closely with Chuck to help CoroWare achieve another year of growth and expansion."

Previous chairman, Walter Weisel, resigned from all positions with Innova and its subsidiaries, including the Board of Directors, effective December 18, 2007.
