Inphi Appoints Technology Industry Veteran Peter J. Simone to Board of Directors

SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - June 22, 2010) -  Inphi Corporation, a fabless provider of high-speed analog semiconductor solutions for the communications and computing markets, today announced that Mr. Peter J. Simone has joined its Board of Directors.

Mr. Simone serves on the Boards of Directors for several companies, including Cymer, Inc., Monotype Imaging Holdings, Inc., Newport Corporation and Veeco Instruments, Inc. Mr. Simone is also a Board member of several private technology companies including the Massachusetts High Technology Council.

Mr. Simone is a seasoned executive with experience in high-tech companies with operations in the United States, Europe and Asia. Mr. Simone was the Executive Chairman of SpeedFam-IPEC, Inc., a semiconductor equipment manufacturer. He was also President and Director of Active Control Experts, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of solid-state actuators, and he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Xionics Document Technologies, Inc., a provider of embedded software solutions for printer and copier manufacturers, until Xionics merged with Oak Technology Inc.

Mr. Simone holds a BS from Bentley University and an MBA from Babson College. He began his career as an auditor with Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst & Young).
