Insception Cord Blood Program Expands to Calgary

Insception has opened a new office to help educate parents of the once in a lifetime opportunity of banking their child’s umbilical cord blood.

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Feb. 26, 2010) - Insception announces the opening of their Calgary office, as Canada's largest and most established cord blood program, Insception is proud to support Calgary and surrounding communities.

The office will be located at the Rockyview Professional Building, 1011 Glenmore Trail S. W., suite 312, Calgary. This location will be headed by Maureen Kardash, R.N., who specializes exclusively in cord blood education. The office will be opened on March 1, 2010.

"Insception is very pleased to now have an office in Calgary. We look forward to working with the Community to provide education, training and clinical updates on the science of cord blood banking. Stem cells and regeneration therapy continues to make rapid progress." Richard Lockie, CEO, Insception Biosciences

Today, using your child's own umbilical cord blood (UCB) stem cells in repairing damage caused by injury or disease through regenerative medicine is advancing rapidly and becoming more commonplace. Despite this, most pregnant women do not take the opportunity to learn about the ability to save their newborn's UCB. There are over 75 diseases treated today through UCB transplants and making Canadians aware of this unique opportunity is what Insception is committed to doing. Insception is also at the forefront in providing clients with the very best in education, cord blood collection, and storage.
