TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 10, 2007) - Inspiration Mining Corporation (the "Corporation")(TSX:ISM)(FRANKFURT:OI8) is pleased to announce the results of the continuation of their diamond drilling program on its Langmuir Project, located in Langmuir Township south of Timmins, Ontario. The Langmuir Property consists of 69 unpatented contiguous mining claim units covering approximately 1090 hectares in the north-central portion of Langmuir Township, Porcupine Mining Division, and District of Cochrane, Ontario. The property is approximately 25 km southeast of Timmins, Ontario, and hosts the past producing Langmuir No.1 Mine, and majority of the past producing Langmuir No. 2 Mine.

Inspiration is continuing the drilling at the Langmuir Project - Langmuir No.1 Mine. The detail fill-in drill program is designed to complete the definition of the nickel bearing mineralization below the 300-foot mine level to a vertical depth of approximately 900 feet below surface.

Drill holes L107-58 and L107-59 are the most northerly drilled holes to date at the Langmuir No.1 Mine. It appears that these holes are above the northerly plunge of the nickel mineralization.

Drill holes L107-60 and L107-61 were located approximately 48.35 feet north and 50.20 feet east of previously released drill holes L107-41 and L107-42, and 41.48 feet south and 25.76 feet east of previously released drill holes L107-29 and L107-30.

Drill hole L107-62 was located approximately 286 feet east of previously released drill hole L107-37. The two zones appear to be within the nickel mineralization halos and are approximately 1285 feet and 1418 feet vertically below surface.

Drill hole L107-63 was located approximately 126 feet east of site for previously released drill holes L107-32 to L107-34 inclusively. The intersections are approximately 96 feet down dip from previously released L107-33 and approximately 443 feet, 575 feet, 772 feet and 944 feet vertically below surface.

The nickel bearing sulphide mineralization, with estimations ranging from 1% to 20% fine-grained disseminations up to 100% massive sulphides, is contained within serpentenized komatiitic ultramaftic extrusive flows with occasional spinifex texture.

The assaying technique used is the industry standard for base metal assaying, which uses nitric and hydrochloric acids that extracts nickel only from sulphide mineralization and not from nickel silicate minerals.

The assaying of split core samples was conducted by Swastika Laboratories, and included the insertion of blanks and standards. The Qualified Person in charge of the Langmuir Project and the person who prepared the technical data in this release is Kian Jensen, B.Sc., P.Geo. (Ont).
