Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario Elects 2010-2011 Governing Council

Council Membership Includes Strong Regional Representation

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 18, 2010) - The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario introduced its 2010-2011 governing Council at its Annual General Meeting on June 17. Ten new members were either elected or re-elected to the Council and Gregory Gallant, FCA, was both re-elected to Council and elected its new Chair.

The Council boasts a cross-section of business and community leaders from many areas of practice, including public accounting, industry, the public sector and academe.

Members elected to the Institute's Council for a two-year term commencing 2010-2011 are:

  • Christie Henderson, CA, Partner, Henderson Partners LLP, Oakville
  • Jane Kinney, CA, Partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP, Toronto

Members elected to the Institute's Council for a one-year term commencing 2010-2011 are:
