Integran Technologies Awarded $4.5 Million Contract by the US Army Corps of Engineers

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 9, 2010) - Integran Technologies Inc., a leading company in the area of metallurgical nano-technologies, has announced today that it has been awarded a $4.5 Million contract by the US Army Corps of Engineers (US Army Humphreys Engineer Center, Alexandria, VA) for the demonstration & validation of Integran's Nanovate™ technology – an environmentally friendly nanometal electroplating process targeted to replace toxic chromium and cadmium plating processes commonly used in aerospace and defense applications. The contract will be executed in support of the Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP) that promotes innovative, cost-effective environmental technologies through demonstration and validation at US Department of Defense (DoD) sites.
