Intelligent Sports Enters Billion Dollar Online Fitness Market by Launching E-Commerce Web Site

Company Targets Baby Boomers to Expand Youth Fitness Platform

UPLAND, CA--(Marketwire - April 28, 2008) - Intelligent Sports, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: IGTP) is pleased to announce that the Company has entered the online retail fitness market with the launch of its e-commerce Web site at The online venue will sell fitness equipment for the home and offer professional fitness and nutritional instruction.

The ShopIntelligentSports store will target health conscious adults aged 45 to 64, a demographic that will swell in the coming years. According to the Sporting Goods Manufacturer's Association, this group is responsible for approximately 80 percent of sales in the home fitness market, with annual spending projected to increase from $200 billion to $1 trillion in the next decade. In 2006, national sales of home exercise equipment totaled approximately $5.23 billion. The U.S. Commerce Department reported that e-commerce sales in general grew 19 percent in 2007 to $136.4 billion, while retail sales increased by only four percent.

The online store will provide consumers with shopping options catered to their needs and budget. It will utilize an online shopping cart and searchable database of more than 70 products, including multi-station gyms, elliptical machines, free weights and other equipment. Orders will be processed by Intelligent Sports, Inc. and delivered and installed by the manufacturer. Intelligent Sports will offer a 10 percent discount on all e-commerce products for the first month. The Company plans to invest revenue generated from its e-commerce venue into its Youth Fitness Centers, the first of which will open later this year.
