International Datacasting Corporation Announces Changes to Board of Directors

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 15, 2009) - International Datacasting Corporation (TSX:IDC), a global leader in providing advanced solutions for the distribution of broadband multimedia content, announced today the appointment of Francesco Ruffolo, Adam Adamou and Fred Godard to the Board of Directors as well as the resignations of Dr. Peter Scovell and W. Neil Bauer.

Effective as of December 15, 2009, each of the named individuals has been appointed to the Board to fill the vacancies left from the resignations of Dr. Peter Scovell, who will serve as a consultant to the Company going forward, and W. Neil Bauer, as well as the previously announced resignation of Denzil Doyle. Denis Colbourne (Chairman of the Board), Dr. Stuart Smith, Del Lippert, Kevin Rankin and Ron Clifton (President and Chief Executive Officer of IDC) will all continue to serve as members of IDC's Board.

About Francesco Ruffolo

Francesco, (Frank), Ruffolo serves as the President of Wilson Display, Canada's leading metal store fixture manufacturer. Mr. Ruffolo served as a Senior Officer and Director of Softquad Inc. from 1993 to 1998. Mr. Ruffolo was the founding partner/investor in Lortech, an integrator of technology communications and broadcast/production equipment, from 1995 to 2001. Mr. Ruffolo is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Math degree from the University of Waterloo.

Adam E. Adamou serves as President & Managing Partner of Caseridge Capital Corporation, a Toronto based specialty investment firm. Mr. Adamou is an experienced investor, banker and advisor to technology companies across Canada with a principal involvement in raising or investing over $1 billion dollars in capital for Canadian technology companies over the course of his career. Frederick L. Godard, (Fred), founded Qustream Corporation and served as its Executive Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President until February 2009. Mr. Godard was responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of QuStream and its subsidiaries.
