International Datacasting Corporation Awarded R&D Support for Next Generation IPTV Technology

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 8, 2007) - International Datacasting Corporation (TSX:IDC) is pleased to announce that it is has received federal funding from the National Research Council Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP). Subject to the terms of the agreement, International Datacasting Corporation will receive approximately $460,000 in non-repayable research funding over the life of the specified project.

Working directly with IDC, NRC-IRAP will provide a range of both technical and business oriented advisory services along with financial support to help the enterprise grow. NRC-IRAP support will be focused on IDC's advanced Research and Development (R&D) project for a next-generation Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) product line.
