International Enexco Reports on 2009 Drill Program at Hot Pot Property, Nevada

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 25, 2010) - International Enexco Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:IEC) (the "Company") reports that it has received results from its 2009 drilling program on the Hot Pot property, Nevada. The Hot Pot property, under joint venture agreement with Nevada Exploration Inc. (NGE.V), is in Humboldt County, Nevada, 6 kilometers east of Newmont's Lone Tree Mine and 13 kilometers north of Goldcorp's Marigold Mine. At Hot Pot, 3,462 meters of core drilling were completed in eleven drill holes, developing stratigraphic information and testing for mineralized structures beneath the alluvial cover. Doug McGibbon, an economic geologist with over 25 years of exploration experience in the Battle Mountain area, and responsible for major discoveries at the Marigold and Pinson mines, has reviewed the drill core and exploration data to put the property into regional context.

Drilling encountered weak but widespread anomalous gold values within all eleven holes, spread across the 8.8 square kilometer property. Mr. McGibbon's study has confirmed that the hydrothermally altered and mineralized lithologies at Hot Pot are similar if not stratigraphically equivalent to those hosting orebodies at the Marigold mine. Although gold values only ranged up to 66 ppb, the mineralized zones encountered were up to 149 meters in length beneath overburden cover that was between 40 to 152 meters in all but two of the holes, with the spacing between holes still leaving sufficient room to host a significant gold deposit. Drilling also identified, zones of oxidation to depths of 300 meters, significant intervals of brecciated material indicative of several major fault zones, and an apparent horst block with similarities to the geologic setting at the Lone Tree mine. Structural analysis is currently underway, and additional geochemical and geophysical work are being considered to focus further drilling.

The Company also announces the retirement of Arthur W. Small as a Director of International Enexco and Manager of the Contact Copper Project. The Company thanks Mr. Small for his years of service, and congratulates him on a long and successful career in the mining industry. Mr. Small will continue to serve Enexco from time to time as an independent consultant.
