Interwrite Learning(TM) Celebrates Innovative Use of ICT by Schools Across Europe

eLearning 2007 Award Winners Receive Interwrite Learning Technology

PARIS--(Marketwire - April 24, 2008) - Interwrite Learning™, an eInstruction company, is pleased to recognize the eLearning 2007 Award winners. The eLearning Awards, organized by European Schoolnet (EUN), recognizes teachers and schools that exemplify the best use of ICT in education by encouraging collaboration through projects, activities, online resources and school websites. In honor of this year's winners of the award for the innovative teaching category -- sponsored by Interwrite Learning -- the company presented a cheque and its award-winning educational technology to Rada Mazganska and the IMOR - Interaktivna Mreza za Obrazovanie i Resursi in The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.

The donated technology and financial contribution is valued at more than $50,000 and includes Interwrite™ Boards, Interwrite™ Pads and Interwrite™ Cricket student response systems. The winning entry was Common Values, a program implemented across eight schools in FYROM (Macedonia) to educate young people about the development of universal values, human rights and democracy.

In addition, in honor of their achievements in other categories, Interwrite Learning™ presented products to two of the other winners, who were from Denmark and Greece. These winning submissions were:

-- Internet Radio as a Learning Tool: A program being offered at
Denmark's Hansenberg Vocational Training School to incorporate digital
sound and internet radio into learning initiatives.

-- From Classroom to Museum: A dedication to Ancient Olympia: A program
at the primary school of Karatoula-Macoula Lias Prefecture in Greece in
which students develop an interactive site on the ancient Olympic games for
    the Olympic Games History Museum.

"For us this award is recognition that the work we are doing shows good practice of teaching and learning, and we expect that the integration of the Interwrite™ products will help further develop our learning environment," said Torben Stolten Thomsen, Project Manager at the Hansenberg Vocational Training School. "We are currently integrating the Boards and Pads into a number of projects and have found that they are not only useful and dynamic tools, but they also offer us totally flexibility in the classroom."

The eLearning Awards are the leading competition in Europe for schools that demonstrate innovation in the classroom and contribute to the EU's Lisbon agenda and the UN's Millennium Development Goals to equip young people with the necessary skills to live, learn and work in the knowledge economy.

"We are pleased to be partners of EUN and support their projects with European Commission to help students using technologies at schools and developing skills as well as a multilingual and cultural experience," said Laurent Odic, Director of Education Europe for Interwrite Learning™.

Interwrite Learning's leading interactive instructional solutions are used by millions of students across 90 countries and in 48 languages.
