Intrinsyc Announces Shipment of GPS-E Soleus® Transit Device

Windows Embedded CE-based Connected PND Features Destinator® Navigation and Soleus Connectivity Software

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 29, 2009) - Intrinsyc Software International, Inc. (TSX:ICS), a leading provider of solutions for mobile and embedded devices, today announced that Hong Kong-based GPS Technologies Company, Ltd. (GPS-E) began shipping a connected PND (cPND) running on the Soleus® Transit software platform. In November 2008, GPS-E licensed Soleus Transit, a turnkey software platform optimized for the development of connected personal navigation devices. Soleus Transit allows device makers to add compelling features that enable innovative and differentiated devices while significantly reducing development time and costs.

Built on Microsoft Windows® Embedded CE, Soleus Transit includes a pre-certified telephony stack, intuitive user interface (UI) framework, applications library and supports the Destinator navigation application on a platform optimized for building connected navigation devices. Soleus Transit enables OEMs to pick and choose the connectivity options requested most by their customers and integrates with Microsoft Visual Studio and Platform Builder for a powerful, easy-to-use solution.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
