Investing for Life: CFP® Professionals Offer Forums Smart Strategies

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 21, 2008) - Want to get competent, comprehensive financial advice this year for your financial decisions? Want to go green with strategic investing that aligns with your values? Want to know how to live forever and pay less tax?

While the latter may sound outrageous, these are all just a few of the topics CFP professionals are tackling at the 2008 Financial Forums being held in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. See full schedule here of CFP presentations made by CFP professionals. Called Money Matters 2008, the Forums bring together Canadian investors, advisors and exhibitors to share ideas on building wealth and planning for the future. FPSC and CFP professionals are part of the Financial Planning and Wealth Management Services segment of the program.

Financial Planners Standards Council's VP of Communications and Corporate Relations Ann Bowman says, "Investing isn't an end in itself. A CFP professional will tell you that investing should be viewed as one integrated part of a financial plan. Good financial planning can help us get what we want out of life, as well as get us ready for what life throws our way."

Can't make it out to a Forum? Call us and we'll connect you with the CFP professionals participating at the Forums - and others.

Interested in other subjects not included in this line-up? We can connect you with other CFP professionals from across the country who can be available to discuss key topics such as: divorce, estate planning, investments, risk management, retirement planning and other important topics. Also check the FPSC web site for a January feature article on Top Financial Planning Resolutions for 2008.
