Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) Announces Ethics Award Call for Nominations

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - November 1, 2007) - The Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) announces a call for nominations for the 2008 Richard J. Davis Ethics Award.

The Davis Ethics Award is awarded each year to the author of an article that has made a significant contribution to advancing the understanding and knowledge of the investment consulting profession in the area of ethics, or on the legal and regulatory issues that affect the profession. The relevant legal and regulatory regimes include, but are not limited to, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Uniform Prudent Investor Act, and the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act. The selection committee includes an ethicist and an attorney familiar with investment law. The award will be presented at the IMCA 2008 Spring Professional Development Conference, May 18-20, 2008, in New Orleans, LA.

The award first was presented at the 2004 IMCA Spring Professional Development Conference. The individuals and the papers for which they have received the Davis Award are the following:
