Iperia Debuts IperiaVX "Visual Messaging" Service at Fall VON Event

NORTH BILLERICA, MA--(Marketwire - October 30, 2007) - Iperia, Inc., a leading provider of service creation platforms to the service provider industry and enterprise markets, today announced the launch of its Visual Voicemail™ application leveraging the power of our Web Service-based award-winning IperiaVX platform.

The announcement comes as Iperia welcomes clients, partners, service providers and enterprise solution seekers to Booth #543 at Fall VON 2007, held in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center from October 29th through November 1st.

"What we've done with our IperiaVX™ service platform is develop a light-weight client that resides on the handset, using the broadband connection of a CPE device to retrieve and display all the user's messages," says David Jodoin, Iperia's CEO. "Our platform delivers enhanced messaging services that are end-point agnostic. So whether the user connects to our applications via wireless handset, web browser, traditional handset or set top box they have the ability to see and manage all of their messages and multi media content seamlessly."

Iperia's Visual Voicemail™ solution is compatible with Windows Mobile Devices, BlackBerry and Palm devices. The service allows users to review voicemails in any order, and automatically call or text the sender of a message using the phone's own built-in features.

Iperia has been providing Visual Voicemail™ to its customers since 2002 and while extending IperiaVX to expose this as a Web Service is a progressive move, it's only the beginning for Iperia.

"Seeing your voice messages on a hand-held device is one thing," Jodoin says. "That's our Visual Voicemail™ product, and while it's definitely useful, future builds of our solution will integrate voice, fax, SMS, MMS, email and video messages into one common display."

Key members of the Iperia team will be on site at Fall VON to demonstrate Visual Voicemail™ and how the technology, which previously only existed for wireline VoIP users, now easily extends to wireless devices.

Visual Voicemail™ will also be discussed in Jodoin's "Industry Perspective: Voice-Enabling Enterprise Business Applications," a presentation being delivered at the Unified Communications sub-conference within Fall VON.
